Shallow Swarm of Earthquakes at the Mauna Loa Summit, including M4.2 at 10:56pm

At least 10 earthquakes have occurred in the last hour on the summit of Mauna Loa. The largest earthquake so far has been a magnitude 4.2, with a depth of -1.2 km (meaning above sea level). The last earthquake was at 11:12pm HST, a M3.5 at -2.1km, and a M3.0 at 11:32pm. We are monitoring the situation, and no update has been posted by USGS or Civil Defense.
