Today the Hawaiʻi by County Council paid tribute to the decades of public service of Mayor Harry Kim. Kim leaves office in two weeks after 16 years in Civil Defense, and 12 years as the Mayor of the County of Hawaiʻi. Many will remember Kim's radio updates during times of disaster that provided comfort and valuable information to residents throughout the years. "The Hawaii County Council today surprised me with a very nice presentation to thank me for my years of service to the community. With just over two weeks before my term ends, this was a gracious gesture that I really appreciate." @MayorHarryKim We thank you for your service, Harry Kim.
