Kīlauea Eruption Update, Day 47: February 5, 2021

Pressure drops again on Kīlauea volcano, and its lava lake drops as well. The West Vent continues to supply lava into the lake, but the area with active lava has shrunk further into the western part of the crater. Meanwhile nearby Maunaloa continues its “non-imminent” business as usual.
