Episode 7 of the ongoing Halemaʻumaʻu eruption began at 6:41 pm HST on January 27 and is currently feeding a small flow onto the crater floor. Kilauea Message 2025-01-28 05:41:05 HST: Lava fountains 80-120 feet high continue from both the north and south vents within Halemaʻumaʻu crater this morning at 5:40 am HST January 28. Lava flows fed by the fountains cover more than half of Halemaʻumaʻu crater floor.
