Incredible overflight footage by Andrew Hara from this morning

MUSIC BY IKAIKA MARZO, EDITED BY ME Mauna Loa is erupting on the upper Northeast Rift Zone and putting down a lava flow that has traveled roughly 6 miles from the eruptive vent, covering the Mauna Loa Weather Observatory access road with multiple flow lobes. The flow has not advanced significantly in the last several hours since this footage was taken.
