Drones On - The End of Eruption, 2018 Kilauea Eruption

Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, August 11th through mid-September. In this episode the sand inundates Pohoiki Bay. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii County Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
