Drones On - May 26th and 27th, 2018 Kilauea Eruption - Hell Night

Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, May 26th and 27th. In this episode large lava flows from fissure 7 takes Pohoiki Rd and covers well pads at the Puna Geothermal Venture, and then Hell is unleashed on the night of May 27th by Fissure 8 and 23. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii Count Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
