Drones On - June 8th & 9th, 2018 Kilauea Eruption - Fissure 8 Remains...

Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, June 8th and 9th. In this episode the ocean entry shifts to the south as Fissure 8 continues to vigorously erupt. Twenty tiny homes are build near the Sacred Hearts Church with Hope Services, assistance from the Hawaii Army National Guard, and led by Gilbert Aguinaldo. Fires are started near the 'Y' of Pohoiki Rd and Hwy 132 by overflows of the lava channel. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii Count Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
