Drones On - June 6th & 7th, 2018 Kilauea Eruption - Ocean Entry Expands

Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, June 6th and 7th. In this episode lava continues to destroy homes in Kapoho, lava evacuees shelter from the elements, and we look the ongoing summit collapse events and the changes at the Kilauea Caldera. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii Count Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
