Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, June 12th and 15th. Governor Ige uses our Homes Lost Map in the FEMA application for individual assistance. The ocean entry is moving to the south, and people start to worry about the Ahalanui Warm Pond, and Kua O Ka La charter school. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii Count Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
