14 new cases via Hawaii DoH and HCCD. There have been a total of 924 (+14) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH, with 197 (-9 net) active cases of COVID-19 implied. Most of today's cases are on the Kona side. As of yesterday, 6 are hospitalized at the Hilo Medical Center, 1 in the ICU, 5 in the COVID Unit. Hawaii Island Deaths Total via HCCD: 37 (+1) -- Breakdown: "6 community at the Hilo Medical Center, 1 community at the Kona Community Hospital, 3 from Life Care Center, per their website, 27 from the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home" (HMC). As of yesterday, Kona Community Hospital had 2 additional patients are on ventilators in the ICU. ... 7-day average on test positivity on island is now at 2.7%, matching the state's positivity rate (HDOH). Yesterday, Hawaii Island had 665 tests processed on island. Total Cases Statewide: 13,371 (+73 today) Released from Isolation: 10,713 (+62) Total Required Hospitalization: 929 (+18) Total Deaths: 168 (+2) *As a result of updated information, one case from Hawaii and one case from Honolulu were removed from the counts..
