Boeing 737 Cargo Plane Makes Emergency Landing Off Coast of Hawaii

A Boeing 737 cargo plane has gone down in the water off Honolulu after experiencing engine trouble. The two crew members were rescued. One crew member was transported by the coast guard to an area hospital according to the Department of Transportation, their condition is unknown. The other pilot was brought to shore by a rescue boat and their condition has been listed as serious. The emergency water landing happened at 1:45 a.m. close to two miles off Kalaeloa Airport, according to the state Department of Transportation. The cargo plane was experiencing engine trouble, attempted to return to Honolulu and was forced to make a water landing. FAA and NTSB investigating. More info on this story to come.
