M3.8 Earthquake Near Waimea, Under NW Maunakea.

Earlier this morning a flexure earthquake occurred beneath the the NW slopes of Maunakea. Earthquakes at this location and depth are common, and they relate to the weight of the island flexing the crust of the earth.
