Update: Revised to 4.9 magnitude The Big Island just had an earthquake with an initial magnitude of 4.9 centered a bit NW of Hilo. From reports below, it sounds like it was felt everywhere on the island. From Philip Ong “The depth of the quake under Mauna Kea suggests a flexural adjustment under the weight of that mountain, likely unrelated to any magma.” Did you feel it where you're at?
