There have been a total of 659 (+13) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH, with 162 (-5 net) active cases of COVID-19 implied. As of yesterday, HMC reported 14 hospitalized in Hilo with COVID-19; 5 in ICU, 8 in COVID Unit, and 1 in Extended Care Facility (via HMC FB). Hawaii Island Deaths Total via HCCD: 28 (+1) The Hilo Veterans Home as of yesterday has 70 (0) residents and 34 (0) employees test positive for COVID-19 (HMC). At least 26 deaths on island are related to the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. No info yet on today's death.
