127 New Cases of COVID-19 in the state, Sept 26th

2 new cases via Hawaii DoH and HCCD, 7-day average on test positivity on island is slow decreasing, now at 1.3% (HDOH). There have been a total of 693 (+2) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH, with 91 (-67 net) active cases of COVID-19 implied. As of yesterday, HMC reported 15 hospitalized in Hilo with COVID-19; 4 in ICU, 10 in COVID Unit, and 1 in Extended Care Facility (via HMC FB). Hawaii Island Deaths Total via HCCD: 28 (0) The Hilo Veterans Home as of yesterday has 71 (0) residents and 34 (+1) employees test positive for COVID-19 (HMC). 26 deaths on island are related to the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Total Cases Statewide: 12,018 (+127 today) Released from Isolation: 5,397 (+4,729) Total Required Hospitalization: 802 (+15) Total Deaths: 131 (+4) (DOH) NOTE: A significant amount of cases of cases were released from isolation
