12 new cases on island via Hawaii DoH. There have been a total of 1,569 (+12) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH. There has been 132 cases on island in the last two weeks. 5 hospitalized on the island (HCCD). Hawaii Island Deaths Total: 49 (0) – "7 community at the Hilo Medical Center, 4 community at the Kona Community Hospital, 10 from Life Care Center, per their website, 27 from the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home." (HMC, Life Care Center). One fatality is outstanding from classification. 7-day average on test positivity on island was at 1.6%, the state's positivity rate is now at 2.1%. On Tuesday, (11.25.20) there were 773 tests processed on island. 815 passenger arrivals on island Nov 24th. The most passenger arrivals since March has been 1,475 last saturday (11.21), arrivals have started to uptick from numbers over the previous month ago. STATE STATS: Total Cases Statewide: 17,618 (+120* today) Cases in the past 14 days: **1,341 Total Hospitalizations: 1,286 (+17) Total Deaths: 237 (+2) NOTE Dept of Health has listed 32 death on Hawaii Island, there is at least a 1 month delay processing deaths. *As a result of updated information, two cases on Oahu and one case on Maui were removed from the counts.
