100* New Cases of COVID-19 in the state, Nov 5th

24 new cases on island via Hawaii DoH and HCCD. There have been a total of 1,356 (+24) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH As of yesterday there were 8 hospitalized on the island (HCCD). EDIT: Hawaii Island Deaths Total: 48 (+2 backdated*) – "7 community at the Hilo Medical Center, 4 community at the Kona Community Hospital, 10 from Life Care Center, per their website, 27 from the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home." (HMC, Life Care Center). Yesterday, 7-day average on test positivity on island was at 2.1%, the state's positivity rate is now at 2.2%. Passenger arrivals coming to Hawaii island since Oct 15th started around 800 people a day, now at 672 passengers yesterday. STATE STATS: Total Cases Statewide: *15,572 (+100 today) Cases in the past 14 days: **1,244 Total Hospitalizations: 1,138 Total Deaths: 219 *As a result of updated information, one case on Oahu was removed from the counts. **Using cases reported in the past 14 days provides a rough approximation of the number of cases currently meeting criteria for isolation. This proxy number for “active cases” resolves classification issues for cases unable to be reached or who are out of jurisdiction, for whom precise release from isolation date may not be possible to determine. It is also not influenced by lags in data entry. (DoH)


So they stopped reporting how many were released/recovered again??!!
